From late March to early April, NFC received the annual re-evaluation of Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (Three-system) and received the renewed certificates issued by Beijing Zhong Jian Xie Certification Center (JCC). The JCC team inspected the system operation comprehensively and picked 6 functional departments and 1 project department as key samples. The JCC team fully recognized NFC’s achievement on three-system management in market development and project execution over the past year. After the on-site inspection at Bozashakol copper concentrator project in Kazakhstan, the JCC team highly appraised NFC project team’s “western” management model such as building comprehensive management structure, high-lightening working permit and quality inspection, popularizing safety classes and drills, strengthening on-site supervision and inspection, and at the same time advised NFC to enhance the control of environmental elements and hazards at site.
　
The JCC team also visited the site of Aktogay copper concentrator project in Kazakhstan by invitation to initiate an independent third-party inspection on NFC project team’s HSE management. JCC team sampled among the 7 key elements and 28 sub-elements in which Aktogay project is involved. After recognizing its achievement and providing 6 pieces of advice for improvement, JCC team concluded that NFC’s Aktogay project team has established and is operating a qualified and effective HSE management system.
